OPTION 1 Basic System Requirements – MiniSplit Systems $195
- This includes coming into your home to calculate the Heating and Cooling loads. We produce a floor plan of the house taking into account location, orientation, type of construction, how many windows and sizes, etc. to give you an accurate calculation of how many BTU’s of heating and cooling the house needs.
- You will receive a printed report called a Manual J with the details of the heating and cooling loads as well as a floor plan showing the Air Flow required for each room
- You will also receive an estimate of the Amperage that may be required, and whether or not you would need an electrical service upgrade.
- We will provide you with two or more possible designs
- OPTION 2 Basic System Plus Review of Quotes – MiniSplit Systems $295
- Detailed Performance Data Analyses
- Actual Performance Data of quoted equipment – This will give the customer objective information to use when comparing systems
- OPTION 3 Central Systems Keeping Existing Ductwork $550
- This is for the option of installing a new system, but using the existing ductwork
- This option includes testing your ductwork to determine if it has the capacity to properly carry the required air flow to each room.
- It includes calculation of Amperage, so the customer knows ahead of time if they might need an electrical service upgrade.
- It includes the same Heating and Cooling loads as above.
- Includes minimum specifications for the new equipment
- OPTION 4 Central System Complete Design including Ductwork $995
- This option includes complete Manual J, Manual D, and Manual S reports specifying the Heating and Cooling loads, specific Duct Sizing and Layout, and Specifications Required for all equipment. The contractor will receive exact plans for the entire system designed for even airflow throughout. It will include necessary zoning for areas that have, for instance, a high amount of windows, etc. These areas, if not properly zoned, will be much warmer than the rest of the house in the summer and colder in the winter.
- OPTION 5 Return visit after installation $195
- We return after installation is complete to make sure the system is properly installed.
- We will perform pressure and temperature checks to make sure the proper level of refrigerant is in the system.
- We will perform a pressure test for an hour to make sure there are no leaks of refrigerant.
- We will check all brazing joints for quality and all electrical connections.
- We will check the thermostat settings for optimal efficiency.
